Milestone Serve Center
We are launching an 11,000-square-foot outreach hub designed to expand our ability to serve people in both everyday needs and moments of crisis. When a crisis hits, we believe the Church should be ready to respond quickly, practically, and with the love of Jesus.
Why the Serve Center?
Food insecurity is a growing reality.
1 in 5 children in Texas are affected, and the Dallas-Fort Worth area ranks among the highest in the nation.
Natural disasters are increasing.
In 2025, Texas led the nation in tornadoes and experienced ongoing winter storms and ice events.
Response time matters.
We don’t want to wait for supplies to arrive or teams to be trained after a crisis. We want to be ready to go immediately.
Year-round outreach is part of who we are.
We already serve people in our communities all year long. The Serve Center will help us facilitate and expand these outreach efforts.
How the Serve Center Will Work:
Disaster Response
- Local and mobile response capabilities
- Pre-trained teams ready to send out immediately
- A dedicated training space for disaster-response volunteers
- Fully equipped trailers and tools for time-sensitive mobilization
Food Distribution
- More large-scale distribution efforts similar to the fully stocked semi-trucks on Serve Day
- Ongoing support for families in need year-round
- Classroom snack programs for Title 1 schools
Community Outreach
- Monthly outreach through 2nd Saturday Serve
Skilled Projects Hub
- A place to store equipment for skilled outreach projects
- Resources to support home repairs, critical needs, and code violation projects
- Focused care for single moms, widows, and veterans
- Tools and materials that are organized and ready to use by volunteer teams
Centralized Operations
- A centralized warehouse to support all outreach efforts across campuses
- Storage, organization, and the transport of resources for disaster response, food distribution, and outreach
- A central warehouse that provides campuses with consistent access to materials for all outreach efforts
